As you may recall, Denver received quite a lot of snow this winter. In fact, this recent warm snap only finally killed off all of the remaining snow mounds hidden in the corners of my back yard. But last night around 7pm, to our amazement: it rained.

The first rain of 2007.

And it rained for over 2 hours. That in itself is rare for Denver.

I always love this first rain because it washes away all that residue from winter that clings to the streets, the fences, heck - even to the plants.

I just looked out the window and it's like a whole new world out there.
