Grand Canyon Day 3

On our last morning at the Grand Canyon, we tooled our way out of the park to the east and hit the Desert View Watchtower. This is something Bryan and I did not see the last time we visited, because we left in the dead of night. In fact, I had no idea it was even there. However, I totally dug it - and even though I was disappointed to find out the interior paintings were not Native American originals - they typify the style of Southwestern art that I *do* like. Very much.

And in keeping with the rest of our Grand Canyon sojourner, the snow held off until we were walking back to the car. But, it did indeed snow yet again.

All the photos are gorgeous. I have to get out there and see it.

(Maybe, oh... I don't know... a ranger program / guided tour.)
