Yesterday was a total family day, spent at Washington Park, where the flowers are still in bloom, the geese are still gliding across the lake... and holy crap, a lot of people are still squeezing the last bit of fun out of summer.
We managed to pretend to fish (heaven forbid when Declan figures out that there is no actual hook on the line), scoot around on his birthday scooter, and climb every way humanly possible on the big playground there.
And, oh yeah. I also took a buttload of photos. Of both the flowers in bloom and the maniac kid who totally still has the climbing skillz he found this summer.
