I am thrilled to report my sister and her family are home from Atlanta after her surgery. I am MORE happy to report that NONE of the crap they ripped out from inside her is cancerous. She is still feeling pretty poorly right now, but we are optimistic that this was the right step to a much better quality of life.
Either way, my nephew Ridgely was sure happy to see his Oma after being away so long.

In other news, but still speaking of abnormal growths, today will be your last chance to see the Bryan's FIRST EVER attempt at facial hair. Facial hair he has been growing for several weeks. Facial hair which will be gone tomorrow because it's driving him nuts.

Driving him (and me) nuts because for some reason, the hairs grow completely OUT from Bryan's face. In spikes. Not down and smooth like most men's beards. More like one of these fish:

Glad to hear about your sister, I bet that is the best gift this Christmas. Still waiting on news about my dad's cancer treatments. Keeping fingers crossed for good news after the new year.
LOL about the facial hair. Daniel has almost always had it. I sort of freak when he doesn't. Which is funny because I never liked it before.
i am so glad to hear that you sis is good!
and it's time to shave that. if you can't kiss, forget it!
Lionfish face, LOL!
Great news about your sister.
Is it venomous, too? I go through a face phase like that, although it only lasts about a day... tell Bryan to stick it out for a few more, ... um, years?
I'm glad for your sister -- great holiday tidings, indeed!
Doodaddy - If I approach it the wrong way - definitely venomous. ;)
And thanks all, for continued good thoughts about my sister! Very much appreciated! I know she appreciates it too!
Happy news about your sister - so glad to hear it.
I'm glad your sister is doing well.
You know, personally, I am fan of facial hair.. that is all I'm going to say.

I'm glad to hear your sister's doing well!
And the Horse Whisperer also has the spikey/painful facial hair. It feels like a porcupine on my face when he kisses me!
Hope your sister is getting better...
He just needs to let it grow more, By the looks of the picture he's only half the way there. He looks fine with it. It just takes a little getting use to. Merry Christmas
