Graphic Designer or Model?

I realize Declan has a leg up in the art category, given the fact that both his parents are graphic designers. But, sometimes I think graphic design is just encoded in his genes, because I swear, we didn't influence these two little illustrations Declan did (at all! I swear!) when he was holding "school."

Notice how the kids in perspective? And how the third one seems irritated to be so far back in line?

And I love how he got fancy with Bryan's name on this one. Experimenting with typography early. Oh God, I think I am going to cry. I also appreciate that his principal is in need of rogaine just as much as I am.

Now. I realize I haven't posted photos of the boy in a while. Stop emailing me about it (mom)! YOU try to get him to sit actually pose for you! He thinks I burned through my photo quota with him already when he was a baby.

But miracles of all miracles, he let me snap off a few last weekend. Thank god! I can actually head home to Maryland this weekend and they'll let me in the door.

Damn cute if you ask me.

Have a great weekend, y'all. I will be posting and twittering from the east coast because *OF COURSE* I am bringing a laptop. Don't forget the Oscars are Sunday!

His future (as in: 30 more years) wife will thank you for his well documented childhood cuteness. So do you scan in his artwork and chuck the original? Or am I the only cold hearted bitch who does this? I loathe clutter.

Y'know my kids won't pose for me either - or when one or two will someone (or some two) just become royal jerks.

Enjoy the East Coast. I wish B'more was closer to Bahston.

That's awesome - especially the how he wrote the name and the perspective of the people. Really talented! And what comes to modeling - he is just soooo cute!

And of course the drawings totally rock too! Tim is no where near drawing like that, but I am proud anyway. He draws one line and says CAR! Life is so simple when you're just 2 :)

That little man of yours is gonna break hearts when he's older. And his personality is practically leaping through the photos. Awesome!
