How hard it is to catch a near 2 year old with a camera.
I took photos of a co-worker's nephew yesterday as a Mother's Day present and he was cute as a button... but I sure got a workout.

I have the same problem with my niece! You have to tell her to stop and say "monkey face" for her to stop.

My kids make me work for every shot. I had a great one lined up the other day that would have found them sitting in the sunlight smiling off camera, and my wife's shadow (showing that she was raking) stretching towards them in the late-afternoon sun. However, neither would cooperate once I tried to get the shot, and they ran off in opposite directions before I could say "monkey face".
Hearing an expert say it's hard doesn't make me feel so bad. I need to take a million photos just to get a few I like!

OH my gosh!!! You managed such fantastic shots! I swear, every photo I have of my kids before the age of four is of the back of their heads :-)
