Remember my friend Meg of Simply Nutmeg? Remember how she went on hiatus until I finished her new blog design? Remember how that put nooooooooo pressure on me whatsoever??? (Seriously, with a little help from my Assistant Art Director, Nathan, it's almost done! I had a little thing called BlogHer going on, OK???) But most importantly, do you remember how she does this thing called Filch It Friday? Where, basically, you have license to steal all the great ideas of other bloggers around the Net! Genius, I tell you!And did you also notice today is the first of the month? Like, the day of the Greeblemix Contest? WOOT!
SO. Guess who I am going to filch from? No. Really. Guess! That's right, Dooce herself. Heather did a contest last month where she gave away 5 free Wiis and Wii Fits. And since Nintendo is STILL not answering my pitiful (and multiple!) pleas for Wii attention, and clearly I am barking up the wrong tree, and I totally can't think of a damn Greeblemix contest question right now, I am gonna just basically steal Heather's idea for comments + family member + random number = winner.
Here are the rules!
1. Comment as often as you like up until midnight (Mountain time), August 1st, 2008.
2. No anonymous comments. No gross ones either.
3. Tomorrow morning, my husband Bryan, who will not read the comments seeing as he is getting ready to leave for a weeklong rafting trip and is going out his mind busy anyway, will pick FIVE (not the regular three, but FIVE) random numbers, and if that is your place in line in the comments, you will be a winner!
4. Winners must be willing to give me their snail mail to send the CDs, and also get a mediocre amount of traffic after being linked to from this blog.
Now, we all know I won't get 42,000 comments like Heather did. Mainly because: A) I am not Dooce, B) My servers would explode, C). Neither Bryan or I can count that high, D). Not Dooce Not Dooce Not Dooce Not Dooce Not Dooce Not Dooce Not Dooce.
But how about 42, huh? Forty two people want my mix CD's, right? (P.S. July was pretty good too. Haven't had a chance to add it to the list. Told you I've been busy.)
Seriously - the other reason to do this is to give the non-morning people a chance at a CD. The lazy sloths that they are.
