This is one of the coolest posts and drawings I have ever seen in my entire life. I'm the father of 3 - and about to be father of a 4th tomorrow! Rock On! Kids get stuff that other people just don't. They see the world with radical amazement!!!

Awesome!

He would have loved the huge grasshopper we had right after the storm. I couldn't get to my camera at the time but it was huge!

L loved it and I am glad he at least got to see it.

Guys, I have no idea where he even got that, I just did a google search and couldn't even find it. I assume it's in this huge encyclopedia of everything he just got for his bday. I just hope I don't end up on Snopes.

That grasshopper has amazing knees! What a perfectly great drawing (and I love the explanation, too!).

Awesome. I think that spelling of knees should be adopted as normal vernacular. What's with that silent K? I love it.

And hey, I learned something I didn't already know!

Well, grasshoppers actually smell with their antennae but it is still a wonderful drawing!! Very scientific and creative at the same time.
