Remember the last time I got caught up in a fairly silly television series? And no, I don't mean American Idol. Which is only like three months away, for those who are counting. I am talking about when Bryan and I propped toothpicks in our eyeballs and watched like 32 consecutive hours of Battlestar Galactica.
Well, this time we aren't quite that obsessed, but the truth is, there is so much Robin Hood in our Netflix queue I am surprised that BBC doesn't send us a Saracen bow signed by the whole cast.
Sure, there are TRULY cringe-worthy moments - and SERIOUSLY, just how oafish can the castle guards get - but forget all that, and add bows and arrows and maidens and lords and thieves and swords and heroes and fifes and thatch roofs and, and, and - of COURSE the troubled love-triangle between Robin and Marian and Sir Guy, and you have got me glued to the television screen.

I love, love, LOVE Robin Hood. The complete rediculousness of it makes it oh so wonderful.
I have resisted the temptation so far, but I could totally see W and I doing it, too!

BBC America is my undoing. I've only recently become enamoured with Robin Hood, but I also enjoy Doctor Who, Torchwood and now Primeval.
I now look forward to Saturday night TV.
(I've been a Who fan since childhood so British Sci-Fi kind of gets me all mooshy anyway)

We are a total Robin Hood/BSG family here. My husband loves Robin Hood with a passion, though I find myself hating on Marian a wee bit more than I probably should, given her plight and all.

My brother made me a set of discs of season 2 before it hit America - methinks I have to get him looking for season 3 because it's been a while since I've been to Sherwood.
No tights? Why bother? Unfortunately I am forced to watch the Disney animated version of this story at least twice a week. If the characters are not foxes, I may not be able to follow the plot.
The BBC is the greatest broadcaster in the world. Don't even try to think of one, because it doesn't exist.
You should all move over here...the TV's brilliant. And no ad breaks.
