So, friends, Thursday I jump on a plane and head back to Texas. I know! I am just as surprised as you that I will be in Texas twice in one month. But this is SXSW Interactive we're talking about. Only the biggest, baddest, nerdiest jam session for techie dorks on the planet.
And this year I am not a newbie, which means I am only HALF as nervous. And this year, I know about a bazillion more people, or at the very least, I stalk about a bazillion more people on Twitter - so it's going to be megablast on a social level. Like my head is exploding just thinking about it. Of course, knowing me, I will end up spending half the time crashed out in my room, renting movies on pay per view with my head spinning from the awesome. Not that that is what happened last year or anything.
But it's not only a FUN event, I learned so much last year, it also really re-invigorated my career, gave me great ideas for projects, and made me determined to, well, get my ass back to Austin this year and every year.
So, off I go. I have my sessions triple-stacked, parties RSVPed, power strip packed and laundry is rolling around and around in the dryer as I type. I will be light on blogging for the next week, with the exception of the March Greeblepix contest that starts on Monday. (Get your awesome photos ready!)
