St. Patrick's Day Resolution

Remember way back in January when you all were making resolutions and I wasn't ready for it? Basically because January is the suckiest month of the year for me - I really couldn't see straight into 2009 yet.

The good news is, my night terrors continue to be on a winning streak, Denver turned itself into a tropical paradise with temps ranging in the 60's and 70's for most of what is normally winter, AND I attended several tech/blog/new media conferences that helped me get my groove back in terms of my real job (building health education sites) and my fake job (this blog).

Almost too much of a groove, actually.

At work, we have been lucky lucky lucky, have projects out the wazoo, and several of them are very near and dear to my heart. More on that soon.

As for this blog, I have ideas oozing out my ears. I have been toying with doing video for a long time, have finally cemented what I want to do, soo you will see that soon. [Ack.] I have *always* intended to publish some sort of book of my photography, but after attending Stephanie Klein and Guy Kawasaki's panel on book publishing, I actually got it into my head to write also a REAL book with REAL words. The scary truth is the only book of value I could spew out would contain some deep dark ugly stuff that wraps up neatly into my night terrors bow, and I am not sure I can go there. Yeah, um, stay tuned on that one, too.

So, seriously. What *IS* my St. Patrick's Day resolution? Normally, given the fact I help build health education interventions, my resolutions are all about goal-oriented, specific, actionable steps.

Fuck that.

This year, my one and only resolution comes from one of my favorite panels at SXSW.
Word to yer mutha. #roux #sxsw

Rock on.

How do you measure "epic"? It must be measurable in order to know whether or not you achieved it.

Shell-e-poo: I am guessing you didn't read the paragraph above the photo where I decided to go against my health education grain and go big. And that's the beauty of "epic" - I will try things I have never tried before and have fun doing it.

I'd buy your book and then force multiple copies on all of my friends. Just do it.
