I usually don't interlope on the photo contest with my own photos, but I have been struggling to catch up editing and sharing on all the shots I took from our NYC trip last month. And I took so many from one particular fountain (anyone know which one this is?), that at the time, I felt I had to go over to this lovely mom, because I had been taking so many photos of her lovely children. She graciously agreed to have her kids featured on my blog and then has been patiently waiting to see them - FORever.
So I finally just skipped ahead to the fountain photos last night, and I couldn't wait to share them with you:
Aren't those kids just amazing? The joy and sunshine and water of that day blew me away.
But, there is still NO THEME for this month's photos - other than share a pic you are really in love with right now. I can't wait to see them!

5. Winner from last month, please take a month off.
6. Photo can be taken specifically for the contest, or in the past.
7. United States photographers only.
8. No anonymous entries.
9. Photos must be submitted to Mr. Linky below by midnight WEDNESDAY SEPT 22 , 2010 to be considered.

This is the first time I've entered a photo and I am definitely just beginning to understand my camera. Even if my picture isn't chosen for the top 10, I'd love to have you critique it for me.
I had a hard time choosing which shot from the day I wanted to enter, but I think I picked the one that tells the story the best. :)

You know what? Going through my shots to try and choose one, I discovered something -- I'm getting better! Like, I can totally see an improvement in my photography.
