So, this month, let's have a (loose) theme of: THANKFULNESS.

Come on. Show us you pics. We love looking at them.

I am extraordinarily thankful for baby toes, like whoa. I just wanna nibble 'em. Is that weird? =)

I'm thankful to finally live somewhere the leaves change colors. I'm not sure I can fully explain how in awe I still am of it, after growing up somewhere it didn't happen. (In Texas, the leaves just turn brown and fall off.)

p.s.-I finally figured out how to the dang Flickr Lightbox thing. In case anyone out there was clueless like me- you click on the picture to be taken to the photo's page to leave comments.

p.p.s.-I am now realizing I may be the only one to have taken this long to figure it out.

It took me a minute, and a scroll through some images from the past few months, but when I saw my "Hugs" image I thought, "Wow, now that says thankfulness in so many ways I could never write"....:)

gratitude is an inevitable reality of being loved...

I am thankful for the year round flowers that are in my neighborhood and this part of the country.

I am also thankful for so many things, not the least of which are my Husband and kids. However, my photography has been less than inspired of late and... there aren't many recent pics worth posting.

Thanks for this wonderful contest Aimee. And healing wishes for your Mom, and peaceful wishes for everyone else.

gratitude is such a wonderful topic. i had to choose a shot of my youngest 2 with their great grandmother, we call her "big nana". she is 92 years young! every day we have with her is a blessing. our strong beautiful matriarch. she is not mine by birth, she is my hubby's nana, but oh how lucky i am to have had these years to know her. she is something else!
