I love holiday music. All kinds. I am generally an indie music girl, so it is fun to see indie bands put out great indie Christmas songs, but... no joke. I love it all. Cheesy, slow, fast, whatever you will give me.
I have amassed a lot of holiday music personally, and my digital music source of choice, Rdio has added a ton more than last year, so I have a pretty robust playlist to share with you for 2012.
Six hours of holiday music. More to be added as great songs are released for this year.
Play on repeat from now until December 25th.

Thanks, Aim! My favorites would have to be Christmas (Baby Please come home) and Do they know it's Christmas ;)
If you haven't checked them out, there are a series of three Xmas albums you might enjoy:
Maybe This Christmas
Maybe This Christmas Too
Maybe This Christmas Tree
Full of indie band holiday fun!
Do They Know It's Christmas is my favorite song for sure! But Rdio does not have it available, boo.
"Oh, Night Divine"...I can't imagine Christmas without this hymn. The lyrics have so much meaning and when all people sing it together it is very powerful.
Jay - that is a gorgeous song! I need to look for a version of that to add. Any suggestions?
YAY! Great playlist again this year!
I forgot one, Happy Christmas (War is Over)... even though I cry when I hear it...
Awesome! Thank you! My dad sings a hilarious old song called "'Zat You, Santa Claus?" There are a few Louis Armstrong versions on Rdio.
Also (on a totally different note!) Sufjan Stevens.
I really love the old '40s Christmas music.
