Every time I mention this band, people think back to the 90's and have a little reverie. I was in college then and listened to them all the time; they made me so happy. But they also put out a stellar album in 2008, and we made sure to see them on that tour too.
I was thrilled when the band reached out to me to photograph their recent (like just a few weeks ago!) show in Denver, although the place was so incredibly crowded it was hard to get around and get the shots.
Because once you see Poi Dog Pondering, you promise yourself you will go back.

OH! I remember them, they are great.
Wow I remember seeing them in Chicago many times way back when!
I prefer the Smashing Pumpkins.
I love, love, love them. When I was in my late teens/early twenties I went to so many of their shows. "Thanksgiving" is still one of my all-time favorite songs.
We have followed each other on instagram for a while but I just found your blog today via the Poi Dog Facebook page. We seem to see a lot of the same shows. I'm from Chicago so I was at this show as well but it was nice to relive it for just a moment through your beautiful photos.
